(you know, since i'm Catholic)
I am a bad blogger. I started with the intention of only blogging when my husband is on Tdy or deployed. Well clearly I'm the luckiest AF wife in the world, my dh has done neither since my last posting. Clearly this is a bad goal.
On the Catholic front, I got a huge lesson in humility. I don't want to talk about it (see, bad blogger) but I feel much smarter because of it. I realized no one likes to be confronted with stuff they are doing wrong and that increases by a thousand when they, in fact, are trying to change, or worse when they didn't know about it in the first place. Now I don't want everyone to walk around uncorrected, but a little kindness goes a long way. We're all (mostly) grown ups and want to be treated that way. More could be said on this but not today.
I've been experimenting with webkinz pattens and found out that all webkinz are different. A sweater I made for olivia (the panda) will fit Poodle (the pink poodle) but not Elizabeth Or Jessica (the cat and horse). So for now I'm going to work on Poodle and Olivia's clothes.
I haven't written up the sweater pattern yet, but here's a picture:
Also if you have the sheepy skirt pattern, you could do a custom size and make this:
I found a dress/ shirt pattern that works. Go on Ravelry (if you're not a member join, it's fun) search "Kaia babydoll". use a size six needle and thin yarn like Lion brand microspun, do not double as per instructions. Do a reg. cast on, not strechy, and not as many increases, just till it looks like it will fit, then yo's and then knit as long as you want it. real precise I know, next time I'll try to get permission to alter the pattern and post it.
And I deleted the pic off me camera. Oh well it's on my rav, or while you're looking for the pattern you could just look at the already done projects until you see a panda in a dress as opposed to a bunch of cute kids in shirts... oh look at that, that's what I get, now she's making a teddy bear pattern out of it, darn, hopefully it will still be a free pattern.
You are a bad blogger, only because your postings are so few! I'm glad I stopped by. I hope this finds you well. :) Tami
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! I have been knitting for my girls baby dolls just recently. Very fun and super fast! I love the panda's shirt.
